São Luís
The Capital of Maranhão started out differently: it is the only Brazil capital founded by the French, in 1612. After they were expelled, the Dutch came, until the Portuguese started to construct the architectural collection which now is preserved in 3,500 buildings, some of which are covered by European tiles, that make the city an official historical and cultural landmark. The cultural mix of São Luís can be measured by its nicknames: City of Tiles; Brazilian Jamaica- due to the strong presence of reggae; Brazilian Athens – for its abundance of literary authors and music; the Island of Love – because of the beauty and poetry of its attractions and people. This rich combination created an exotic culture that you can see and feel in the streets, people, night, cuisine, everywhere.

Parnaíba
Formed by the Parnaíba Falls, which divide Maranhão from Piauí, and the only delta in open sea in the Americas. It´s natural landscape ensure an unforgettable excursion between small rivers, swamps, islands and dunes, along with the beautiful deserted and crowded beaches.

Jericoacoara
The small and famous vila, Jericoacoara, in Ceará, is in na área under environmental preservation, surrounded by dunes and the greenest of seas. Ecological excursions and beaches during the day, a historic sunset and lively nights make Jeri a charming place full of beautiful people.




The Total Relax Week

Day 1 – São Luis/Barreirinhas
- Departure to Barreinhas: 05:00
Arrival in Barreirinhas: 09:00
- Departure: Excursion (duration of 1 hour) to Lençóis National Park-(Barreirinhas/ National Park leg by 4x4) 09:30
- Return from excursion: 15:00
- Overnight in Barreirinhas (Hotel to be chosen)

Day 2 – Barreirinhas/Caburé
- Motorboat excursion on the Preguiças River with a stop in Vassouras (pequenos lençóis), Mandacaru (appreciate the view of the lençóis from the lighthouse) and Caburé (extension of área between the river and ocean): 09:00
- Overnight in Caburé (Inn to be chosen)

Day 3 – Cabure/`Parnaíba
- Transportation in 4x4 vehicle from Cabure to Parnaíba, duration of 4.5 hours. Check-in in Parnaíba (Inn to be chosen)
- Overnight in Parnaíba (Inn to be chosen)

Day 4 – Parnaíba
- Boat excursion, at 09:00, in destination to the Parnaíba Delta with lunch included, snack of fruit and crabs on board. The excursion happens during the morning and afternoon.
- Overnight in Parnaíba (Inn to be chosen)

Day 5 – Parnaíba/Jericoacoara
- Departure by 4x4 vehicle, to Jericoacara (3.5-hour trip) at 08:30
- Free afternoon. Suggestion: Visit the Pedra Furada
- Overnight check-in in Jericoacoara (Inn to be chosen)

Day 6 – Jericoacoara
- Excursion ( Morning departure) by 4x4 to Blue Lake and Paraiso (Optional)
- Overnight in Jericoacoara

Day 7 – Jericoacoara/Fortaleza
- Departure by bus from Jericoacoara to Inn in Fortaleza (approximately 6-hour trip)
- Overnight in Fortaleza (Hotel to be chosen)
